Hi Friends! I love festival season, because it usually means nice weather here in Cleveland! Coming up right around the corner is the 2013 Cleveland Garlic Festival in Shaker Square. On September 7th and 8th, you can enjoy a fun day filled with music, food, and family fun!
Cleveland Garlic Festival is the Annual Fundraiser for North Union Farmers Market and its charitable programs including but not limited to, food stamp enhanced purchases/EBT-SNAP, Music at the Market, Chef at the Market, Mighty Locavores K-2 educational programming in Cleveland Municipal School District and much more.
Every year, the North Union Farmers Market brings fresh and local produce to over 300,000 local shoppers!
North Union Farmers’ Market champions the local foods of Northeast Ohio and promotes their environmental, economic and health benefits by connecting certified producers with consumers through a network of markets. The Cleveland Garlic Festival will further these goals by bringing awareness about the importance of local foods, while also spreading the love of garlic!
